Questions owners actually ask
FAQ
- What about Stripe's processing fees?
- Card processing is handled by Stripe and their fees pass through at cost (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per card charge in the US). Our 1% application fee is on top of that, taken automatically per booking — no invoices to reconcile.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Month to month, no contract. Cancel and your subscription stops at the end of the billing period; your data is yours and we'll export it for you.
- What counts as a room?
- A bookable space. Rooms are counted across all your locations — 5 rooms at one address and 3 at another is 8 rooms, $160/month. Gear add-ons, activities, and staff accounts don't cost extra.
- Do you help with migration?
- Yes — that's the one thing we charge a one-time fee for, and only if you want it. We move your rooms, rates, weekly regulars, and customer list out of your current system and set the storefront up with you. Ask when you write in.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Your storefront launches on your own subdomain (yourstudio.<our domain>) with TLS included. Custom domain mapping is on the roadmap — tell us if you need it and we'll prioritize accordingly.
- How do approval rooms charge the card?
- For rooms set to require approval, the customer's card is authorized at booking and only captured when you confirm. Decline, and the hold is released — nobody is charged for a session that never happened.
