An activity is not a room
An activity product assumes a session you publish and then fill: a 10am kayak trip with twelve places. That maps neatly onto a class or a workshop, and if classes were your whole business Peek would be a reasonable thing to look at.
It does not map onto room hire. A band books an arbitrary window — 7pm to 10pm on Thursday, four hours next Saturday — against a room with a minimum, a turnover buffer and a rate that changes at peak. There is no departure to fill; there is a grid of hours to sell.

Where the two overlap
If you run drum clinics and beginner courses and almost no open room hire, an activities platform will handle the seat-selling side well and may bring you bookings through channels we have nothing to do with.
We sell seats too, but as a smaller part of a room-hire product, and we have no distribution network at all. That is worth saying plainly rather than glossing.
