Built by a musician.
For the whole studio.

I’m Henry Kramer. I built Soundslot to make booking rehearsal rooms and running a studio easier.

I am Henry Kramer, and I am a musician before I am anything else here. I have booked a lot of rehearsal time over the years, at more than one studio, and the booking was often the hardest part of the night. The times on the page were not always the times that were free, and the form I ended up on rarely looked like the studio I was booking.

The studios I booked with cared about their rooms and the people in them. The booking software they could buy was written for the person managing the rooms, and the person handing over money got whatever was left.

I build websites for a living, and when I looked at how studios take bookings, a better looking site was never going to be enough on its own. The booking had to be part of the site, in the studio's own name, with the card taken on the same page.

That is the whole reason this exists. Musicians are the demographic that buys studio time, so a musician should build the thing musicians book through. I know what it feels like to be on the wrong end of a booking form at eleven at night, and I know which parts of it a studio owner never sees.

So Soundslot is built from both ends. The band gets a real site with real availability and a checkout that takes their card. The studio gets one calendar, one place the money lands, and the weekly regulars handled without a spreadsheet. The two halves are the same product, which is the part the incumbents never managed.

If you run a studio and any of that sounds familiar, the fastest way to judge it is to use it.
