Soundslot vs SuperSaaS
SuperSaaS is a general-purpose online scheduler: it will book a tennis court, a tutor, a meeting room or a rehearsal room, because it is built to book anything. Soundslot books one thing. That is the whole comparison, and everything below is a consequence of it.

What each one is for
SuperSaaS gives you a scheduling engine and a set of forms, and expects you to shape it into your business. That flexibility is real and it is why it has lasted: there is almost no booking problem it cannot be configured into.
Soundslot models a rehearsal or recording studio directly. A room has an hourly rate, a minimum, a turnover buffer, activities with their own rates, gear that can be hired with it, and a payment policy of its own. None of that is configuration you assemble; it is what a room is.
Side by side
| Feature | A general scheduler | Soundslot |
|---|---|---|
| The object you book | A resource or a service you define, shaped to fit a room. | A room, by the hour, with a rate card, a minimum and a buffer. |
| Your booking page | A hosted schedule page, styled within what the tool allows. | A storefront on your own domain, in your studio's name and typography. |
| Weekly bands | Repeating slots on a schedule. | A first-class series: forward-only edits, frozen prices, per-week skips. |
| Deposits | Configurable through the payment set-up. | Per room, with a cancellation ladder in hours and percentages. |
| Gear hire | Modelled as another bookable resource or an add-on form field. | Stocked items that count down and back, attached to the booking. |
| Where the money lands | Through the processors it supports. | Your own Stripe or Square account, with our share deducted as each booking is paid. |
What SuperSaaS does that we do not
It books things that are not rooms. If your business also runs tuition slots, equipment loans and a squash court, one general scheduler covering all of it beats a studio product plus three workarounds.
It has been around a very long time and it is stable, well documented and cheap to run. Nobody should switch off it for novelty.
When switching is worth it
The case for moving is not cost. It is that your booking page carries somebody else's name and your customers can tell, and that the parts of a studio that make money — the weekly bands, the deposits, the backline — are things you are currently describing to a scheduler rather than running in one.
This page quotes no price for the other product. Theirs change, and a figure typed here would be out of date within a month. Read it on their own site, then read ours.
Your studio. Your next chapter.
If you are on SuperSaaS today, the switching page walks through what moving actually takes, including running both side by side while your bands move across.
